Know Your Farmers: Lindsay & Jordan of Heaven's Dew Farm

There’s an old saying we love: the best certification for your food is knowing the first name of the farmer who grows it. In our case, that’s Lindsay and Jordan—and we’d be honored to get to know you, too.

Both Lindsay and Jordan are lifelong outdoors enthusiasts who fell in love with farming early in life. Raised on family farms, they learned firsthand the importance of growing food with care and protecting the land that sustains it. That passion led them to pursue degrees in Natural Resources, eventually meeting in graduate school at the University of Georgia, where they each earned a Master of Science in Natural Resources.

Their journey took them to upstate New York, where they managed a 1,200-acre farm for three years. There, their commitment to sustainable farming deepened as they embraced hands-on practices that benefited both the land and the local ecosystem. Tending their own hobby garden during that time reinforced the impact thoughtful farming can have on a community—and on the environment.

Ultimately, that experience brought them home to Unionville, North Carolina, where they now live out their shared dream of stewarding the land and feeding their neighbors through Heaven’s Dew Farm.

Our Growing Practices

While Heaven’s Dew Farm is not certified organic, we follow organic principles in all we do. That means:

• No synthetic herbicides, pesticides, or fertilizers

• Minimal tillage to protect soil structure

• Cover cropping and composting to enhance soil health and biodiversity

Our goal is simple: to grow clean, nutrient-rich food while nurturing the land for generations to come.
